"Finally! I'm Double Digits!"

It's been kinda like Birthday Central around our house the last few weeks/months. First, Taylor turned eleven. Then, Chris turned 100.....or 35. Same thing.

And now Brenden is 10.

10.

10 Things I love about our 10-year-old

1.) He has a heart the size of a dinner plate. Just like his Dad.
2.) He LOVES art. Drawing it. Painting it. Singing it. All of it.
3.) If he could eat, breathe, and sleep football, he would. Ditto for the Buckeyes.
4.) He's not afraid to belt out 80s tunes with me in the car.
5.) He's the Vice Man-of-the-House when Chris is gone. Including taking out the trash and squashing bugs.
6.) He'll excuse himself from the table to go fart. Even if we can hear it from the other room....AND laugh about it....
7.) When other kids are mean to his little brother and sister, he'll make 'em eat gravel. Repeatedly.
8.) As crazy as it gets in our house, he is the instigator of the Group Hug. Usually in the middle of me fixing dinner.
9.) No matter how hard it might be, he always tries to do the right thing. Even when he's not sure what the 'right thing' is, his heart is always in the right place.
10.) He'll call me at work in the morning to say thank you for making him cinnamon rolls.

Happy birthday, Little Man. We're so proud of you.
